India is a country of South Asia as authorized by its independence. India is the second-most populous country, comes at number seven in terms of land area, and is the most populous democracy. India is encircled by the Indian Ocean in the south, the Arabian Sea in the south-west, and the Bay of Bengal in the south-east. It is linked by land borders with Pakistan in the west, China, Nepal, and Bhutan in the north, and Bangladesh and Myanmar in the east. In the Indian Ocean, India lies close to Sri Lanka and the Maldives region, it's Andaman and Nicobar Islands share a sea border with Thailand, Myanmar, and Indonesia.


INDIAN HISTORY

India's team has won matches of the three seasons of the Asian Games and Kabaddi World Cup. Kabaddi is a very popular indigenous game of the country. Hockey is a very successful sport for India in the Olympic Games, the Indian team has won Olympic gold medals eight times.

The festival of Holi is called the "festival of colors", the festival of Holi is very popular in India and other countries. This festival is celebrated in the joy of the burning and dying of Holika, which was possible only due to Lord Vishnu. On this day, people hug each other with color and throw water at each other with water guns. This thing is related to Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, he used to celebrate Holi by soaking his friends in the water and coloring them.

The 11-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival celebrates the birthday of Hindu elephants and Lord Ganesh. At the beginning of the festival houses and statues of Lord Ganesh are kept in big pandals and their idols are decorated. Lord Ganesh is worshiped during the 11-day festival. On the last day of the festival, a procession of Lord Ganesh comes out on the streets with drum holders, along with this dance and song also goes on and finally by immersing the idol of Lord Ganesh in the sea, he is given goodbye. This festival is celebrated to maintain the blessings of Lord Ganesh to the family of the house and to maintain happiness and prosperity in the house.

The nine nights of the Navaratri festival make Goddess Durga Mata and her incarnations comparable.
