URI-ATTACK

Uri Attack: Revenge of the Soldiers who were Martyred

Uri's attack has been considered harmful for the security forces in Kashmir for two decades. The terrorist Jaish-E-Mohammed was involved in the planning and work of this attack. The people of Kashmir valley were very restless at the time of the attack.

BACKGROUND

Terrorists launched high-profile fidayeen attacks against India's forces: In July 2015, three terrorists attacked a bus and a police station in Gurdaspur, and then in 2016, 4 to 6 terrorists were attacked at the Air Force Station in Pathankot. The Indian authorities made a humble note to Jaish-E-Mohammad for this attack.

Since the assassination of the people and a popular terrorist leader, Burhan Wani, on July 8, 2016, the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir was going through a fear of restlessness. Because of this murder, the people of Kashmir staged anti-picked demonstrations against the Indian government, due to which recently anti-India was considered as the biggest protest demonstration against India.

ATTACK

On 18 September 2016, around 5:30 am four terrorists attacked the Big Army headquarters of the Indian Army in Uri near the control line in the previous ambush.  It is believed that the terrorists fired 17 grenades in just 3 minutes. A rear administrative base camp with tents also caught fire and 17 Indian Army personnel were killed in the attack. Apart from this, 20-30 soldiers were also injured. This fight lasted for about 6 hours, in which all four terrorists were killed. The search operation was continued and additional terrorists were thought to be alive.

Surgical Strike
SURGICAL STRIKE

The officers who were martyred in the battle were from the 10th Battalions, Dogra Regiment, and 6th Battalions, Bihar Regiment. One of the wounded soldiers died on 19 September at RR Hospital in Delhi, after which the other wounded soldier also died on 24 September.

It is being said that non-fire retardant infestations were mainly caused by the tents. It was a time of the military battle in which 6 Bihari soldiers were to replace 10 Dogra soldiers. Some soldiers are kept in tents, which protect them in areas around the LOC such as Uri. The terrorists entered the camp of heavy security and they knew that they had to attack. The soldiers who worked in the kitchen along with the slain soldiers and the barber were accomplished by the support staff.

CONSEQUENCE

On 19 September 2016, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar, Chief of Army Staff Dalbir Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and Other officials of the Ministry of Defense met for the investigation of security in Kashmir and especially for the LOC in the areas. The National Investigation Agency filed the first information report regarding the attack and on 20 September 2016, the police of Jammu and Kashmir started investigating this case.

Pakistan International Airlines closed flights to Kashmir on 21 September 2016 after the attack. After the attack in Uri, the security around the army base was increased, while on the LOC, India, and Pakistan had put a high alert on both sides to avoid the attack.

POSTPONED OF SAARC SUMMIT

Because of the terrorist attack, India refused to attend the 19th SOUTH ASIAN ASSOCIATION REGIONAL COOPERATION (SAARC) Summit to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan's territory, in November. The Minister of External Affairs issued a statement saying, " India has cautioned Chairman Nepal at the SAARC conference that in this region, terrorists are crossing the country's border and a country intervenes in the internal affairs of the member countries, creating such an atmosphere but in November 2016, it is not conducive for the successful organization of the 19th SAARC Conference in Islamabad." The statement also said," In the current circumstances, the Indian government is unable to attend the SAARC Conference in Islamabad."

In the absence of India at the SAARC conference in Islamabad, Pakistan's Foreign Office termed its inclusion as unfortunate and said," The whole world knows the excuse of India that India is ending and financing terrorism." In this statement of Pakistan, Indian national leader Kulbhushan Jadhav was taken under surveillance by Pakistan on the charge of spying, and on Pakistan's interference in India, it was a violation of international law.

After this, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Bhutan refused to attend the Islamabad summit. On 30 September 2016, Pakistan said that the summit meeting to be held in Islamabad on 9 and 10 November will be held on the same date.

INDIA VENGEANCE

INDIA VENGEANCE

Eleven days after the attack, on 28 September, the Indian Army in Pakistan-administered Kashmir the "launch pads" used by the terrorists for the attack were described as a "surgical strike". DIRECTOR GENERAL OF MILITARY OPERATIONS (DGMO) Lt. General Ranbir Singh said that Pakistan retaliated against terrorists who were trying to infiltrate and attack terrorists in different places in Jammu and Kashmir. The economist seeing the Indian report said that the operators of the Indian Science Olympiad Foundation crossed the control line and got there and killed about 150 Pakistan-sponsored trees. Pakistani officials termed the Indian claims as false and said that India had never crossed the control line.

After the attack in Uri, INDIAN MOTION PICTURE PRODUCERS ASSOCIATION (IMPPA) banned Pakistani actors and actresses working in India. Bollywood actors were separated from this with a ban, but some people also raised questions on this matter. Announced the India TV channel Zindagi to be aired on Pakistani TV shows. Australia

AUSTRALIA FLAG
AUSTRALIA

Australia

Australia is the king of its Commonwealth as a work, which includes the continent, the island of Tasmania, and many smaller islands. According to the large country and total area of Oceania, it is the largest country in the world at number six. The population of this country is about 26 million in urban areas and it is concentrated on the eastern seaboard. Its capital is Canberra and the largest city in Australia is Sydney. Its major metropolitan areas are Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.

Before the arrival of the Dutch explorer in the 17th century, the people of Australia lived on this continent for nearly 65,000 years, which was named New Holland. In 1770, Great Britain claimed the eastern half of Australia, and on 26 January 1788 , he resided in the colony of New South Wales via transport. That day became the national day of Australia. Since then, the population has started to increase steadily. By the time of the gold rush in 1850, more continents were discovered by European colonists and established five autonomous Taj colonies. On 1 January 1901, the people of the six colonies founded the Commonwealth of Australia. Australia has since maintained a stable liberal democratic political system that functions as a federal parliamentary constitutional monarchy, which includes 6 states and 10 territories.

Australia is the oldest, flat, and dry country with fertile soil. It has a land area of 7,617,930 sq. km.

AUSTRALIA HISTORY

In the 17th century, some continents were mapped by Dutch sailors and in the following century by French and British sailors, but it was not in 1770 that Captain James Cook sketched the East Coast and Great Britain claimed it.

In 1788, Great Britain formed penal colonies in New South Wales, Tasmania, and Western Australia. The people who settled without paying money kept their numbers, due to which the number of criminals was reduced. Then in 1830, a colony was formed for the people who settled in Western Australia without paying any money.

In 1850, Queensland and Victoria separated from New South Wales, by which time gold had been discovered by New South Wales and Victoria. The desire for gold brought many migrants to Australia.

AUSTRALIA CULTURES

AUSTRALIA CULTURE
AUSTRALIA CULTURE

The culture of Australia is derived from Britain and it is a western culture but the unique geography is influenced by the cultural input of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and Australian people. The British Colony of Australia became operational in 1788 and since then the population of multi-caste migration started increasing. The importance of Anglo-Celtic heritage is very important for the prominence of the English language, the existence of the democratic system of circuses is only about the British tradition of the Westminster government, Parliamentarianism, sovereign monarchy, American constitutional, federal tradition, and Christianity are included in the major religion. In Australia, the sports affected by the British isles are more popular.

It is believed that the inhabitants were on Earth 60,000 years ago, and the identity of the tribal people in Australia is 30,000 years ago. In 1780, penal colonies were made in many states for British criminals arriving at Sydney Cove. Australian music, cinema, and literature have popular stories of bandits such as Bushranger Ned Kelly. Money was brought to Australia in 1850 with Australia's gold doldrums with new social tensions including the Miners Eureka Stockade Rebellion. The colonies had specially established electoral lawmakers and rights for workers and women before other western countries.

AUSTRALIA'S SPORTS

Australia has a successful history in sports at the world level and in many sports, it performs well above expectations based on its comparatively small population.

Cricket is a popular national sport in Australia in which Australian players perform well. There are two football code rugby leagues played in New South Wales and Queensland and Australian law is prevalent in places like Western Australia. Sports like rugby union and association football are also played in it. Netball is the female sport prevalent in Australia.

The people of Australia love water sports and started swimming in the 50s. In the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, Dawn Fraser, Shane Gould, Kieren Perkins, and Ian Thorpe won gold medals for Australia. Australia has hosted the Olympics twice in 1956 and 2000.

Indian Army

INDIAN ARMY
INDIAN-ARMY

History of Indian Army

The last shape and professionalism of the Indian Army were re-invented before the First World War, under General Kitchener, from 1902 he was the Commander in Chief of India. At that time there was a fight between him and Viceroy George Curzon of the alleged organizational duel because of which Curzon, who controls the Indian Army resigned from the post. Due to which the high defense controllers of India were severely affected.

INDIAN ARMY FORCE
INDIAN ARMY

It was the British era of the Indian Army for nearly 200 years. Major Stringer Lawrence was the first army officer appointed from all East India Company armies in 1752. He can also be considered the father of the Indian Army. The recruitment of forces in England then included European and Indian assistants. Indian armies were given their weapons, put on their dress, and commanded their rights.

Substantial changes took place after the 1796 reorganization:-

The increase in the number of British officers in Indian units led to the loss of importance and responsibility of Indian officers. Artillery units were formed with European guns and Indian helpers. Infantry battalions were placed in each regiment consisting of two regiments. The Indian Army joined the cavalry brigade and announced a different type of service.

INDEPENDENCE AND PARTITION OF INDIA

The Indian Army did not fight for freedom but had contributed. Due to which India gained independence. One of his major reasons was the establishment of the INDIA NATIONAL ARMY ( INA ) by Indian prisoners of war. The INA consists of about 20,000 officers and men. The British were shocked due to the defections of the officials. He felt that India could not be trusted for the freedom movement. It was replaced by Mutiny in the Royal Indian Air Force in January 1946 and in February 1946, it was given a different shape in the Royal India Navy. On 20 February 1947, Great Britain became afraid of a revolution, due to which he had to leave India, then his Highness the Government declared power to the Indians. Lord Mountbatten replaced Wavell to become Viceroy. On 15 August 1947, India and Pakistan were separated from the thinking ideas of the two main parties, the Indian National Congress and the Muslim League. Other problems like division, law and order were solved differently such as borderline, division of armed forces and defense assets, economic assets, state of princely states, and different forms of partition, etc.

INDEPENDENCE AND PARTITION
INDEPENDENCE AND PARTITON

By 15 August 1947, it was agreed that the control of India and Pakistan would be dominated by non-Muslims and the dominant force of Muslims. A large part of the army consisted of mixed class people and all those units were constituted. The small size of the Navy and Air force did not overshadow. Between India and Pakistan, an Armed Forces Reconnaissance Committee under Field Marshal Auchinleck units and shops in the ratio of two to one were chosen to be separated. In India and Pakistan, Muslims and non-Muslims can choose what kind of service they want to do.

TERRORISM IN JAMMU AND KASHMIR

TERRORISM
TERRORISM

This period also saw the beginning of terrorists in Kashmir and the deployment of National Rifles and troops in Jammu and Kashmir, India was repeatedly faced by the Taliban Pakistan, due to which all the institutions of governance had been on the lookout for the Taliban ideology. Pakistan does not want to deal with Lashkar-e-Taiba, which is the biggest enemy in the PAKISTAN OCCUPIED KASHMIR (POK) against India and the leader who leads them. The war of terrorism started by Pakistan, which India is fighting to date, is related to the spirit of the Indian Army, this is a story in which a separate chapter is needed to show the proficiency of the Indian Army.

INDIA PEACEKEEPING FORCE IN SRI LANKA

INDIA PEACEKEEPING FORCE
INDIA PEACEKEEPING FORCE

From July 1987 to March 1990, the Indian Army fought the Tamil terrorists in Sri Lanka, they were also tied behind their back with one hand. During the operations of the INDIA PEACEKEEPING FORCE ( IPKF ) nations and the warring faction LIBERATION TIGERS OF TAMIL EELAM (LTTE) and went to Sri Lanka to separate the Sri Lankan armed forces and to maintain peaceful order, but the LTTE came to an end before peacekeeping and military operations against it. Whatever the Indian Army achieved, former defense minister of the Sri Lankan government Ranjan Wijeratne has described in his own words that he was abolished by the IPKF. He was also suffering from breathing. It was we who gave him oxygen. He told what IPKF had achieved before the de-induction.

In 1980, the Indian Army carried out an operation in the Maldives to avoid their kindred but there was not much fighting in it, it demonstrated the world's low speed and ingenuity, to which the Indian Armed Forces could react.

INDIA'S KARGIL WAR (MAY-JUNE 1999)

Kargil Sector is 168 km along the Controller Line from Kaobal Gali in the west to Chorbat La in the east. This area is so large that its control line runs in a water area ranging from 4000 to 5000 m. Frontage and the nature of the area have ensured large gaps in the rescue zone. Dras consisted of an infantry battalion for deployment, two infantry battalions to cover Kargil and Chorbat La, and a BORDER SECURITY FORCE (BSF) Battalion was

organized by Ladakh Scouts. On 3 May 1999, India detected the infiltration of Pakistan. It was clear that the infiltrators had captured the gaps of all sectors of the sector. It was also learned that India would use its troops by Pakistan and try to change the LINE OF CONTROL (LOC). The local army was delighted for not monitoring during the winter months. Surprisingly, the initial reactions were inadequate, leading to poorly planned patrols and attacks. It could have cured the enemies if the whole act had been put together. Courage in air and artillery to the needs of Indian soldiers and infantry and under the determination its destructive effect is employed destructive.
